Endless Coloring FX — Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Endless Coloring FX app for iPhone, iPad and Android. Our other app, Endless Coloring, has its own privacy policy; it does not apply to Endless Coloring FX.

1. Who is responsible

2. What we do not collect

• No account and no sign-in: the app never asks for a name, e-mail address, age or date of birth.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers (no IDFA/AAID), no analytics, no crash-reporting services and no third-party SDKs.
• No device identifiers are created or sent by the app.
• No camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location. The app does not ask for these permissions.
• What your child draws with a finger lives only on the screen. It is not saved, exported or sent anywhere, and touches are never sent to a server.

3. What stays on your device

To work, the app keeps a few things in its private storage on the device:

• settings: sound effects, music, soft flashes, vibration, language, the order of the effects and the last effect used;
• the state of the parental gate (for example, a short pause after several wrong answers);
• how much of today's free try of each paid effect has been used;
• the subscription status the app received from the App Store or Google Play;
• the latest settings file downloaded from us (see section 4) and the time it was downloaded.

None of this is sent to us. To delete it, delete the app. On iPhone and iPad these settings may be included in your device's iCloud or computer backup, like the data of any app.

4. The settings file

When the app starts, and when it comes back to the screen, it may download a small settings file from cdn.endlesscoloring.app — usually not more than once an hour. The file tells the app, for example, which effects are free and how long the daily free try lasts, so that we can adjust this without an app update. Without internet the app works with the settings it already has.

The request is the same for every device: it contains no account, no identifier and nothing about your child. As with any request on the internet, our server receives the device's IP address, the time and the technical information the device sends with every request (such as the app name and system version). Our server writes this in its technical logs, which we use only to deliver the file and keep the server secure. The logs are not linked to any person and are deleted after a limited period.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions are bought and managed only through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is made to Apple or Google; the app and we never see your card or other payment details, your name or your e-mail address. The store tells the app only whether a subscription is active and until when. We do not pass any identifier of ours to the store with a purchase.

Apple and Google process purchases under their own privacy policies. On Android, the Google Play purchase component built into the app is provided by Google.

6. Children's privacy

Endless Coloring FX is made for children aged 2–8. Children do not create accounts and are never asked for personal data. There is no advertising, no chat, no social features and no way for a child to contact anyone. Purchases, subscription management, restoring purchases and the links to these documents are in the For parents section, behind a parental gate: a sum written in words that the adult answers in digits.

The app is part of Google Play's Families programme. This approach is designed to meet COPPA (United States), the GDPR including its rules for children's data (EU/EEA), the UK GDPR and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code.

7. Legal basis (EU/EEA and UK)

The only personal data we process is the IP address in our server's technical logs. We process it on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): delivering the settings file and protecting the server against abuse.

8. Where data is processed

The settings file is served from our server, hosted by Hostinger in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur). Cloudflare provides DNS for our domain only; the request itself does not pass through Cloudflare. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, this means that the technical logs are kept in a country without an adequacy decision; they contain only what is described in section 4.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, and to restrict or object to processing, by writing to support@endlesscoloring.app; we answer within 30 days. Because the app has no accounts and sends no identifiers, we usually cannot link any data to you. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date. If the app starts processing data in a new way, we will update this policy before the change reaches the app.
